August 2023 Video Recap

This felt like a real busy month for video parts and edits. We saw some of the NW best skaters putting out some of their best parts to date. And of course with summer in full swing we saw some fun skate trip videos drop as well. Here’s our recap of a few of our favorite videos that dropped in August 2023.

Lakai - Bubble

If you haven’t watch Bubble yet, you’re slippin. It’s damn near a local video with a ton of NW rippers like Griffin Gass, Greg DeHart and Simon Bannerot.

Jasper Dohrs & Griffin Gass - GIRL X PREDUCE

Griff had a busy month with his part drop in Bubble, his pro shoe dropping on Lakai and a shared part from with his friend Jasper Dohrs.

Ian Ostrowski - Laburnum Drive

Seattle’s Ian Ostrowski uploaded a new 15 minute Canada edit this month titled Laburnum Drive. The video features lots of familiar faces from the Genesis crew skating around the Vancouver area.

KTVX1000 - BUMP THIS

Bryce, Riley, Jake, Joe, Ben and Dallin went to the only decent ditch spot in WA, which just so happens to have the greatest launch into a river that man may ever find. The tow in BS nosepick by Bryce was a banger.

Supreme - Piggy

Look, this video does not need our promo. But Troy was in it, and that’s fuckin sick. It wasn’t quite a part from Troy, but his clips make it worth the watch.

Issaquah Skatepark

This edit technically came out the last day of previous month, but fuck it we’re gonna include it here. This was a fun park edit from the Issaquah crew with some guest appearances from some people you might recognize... (lookin at you Dave Waite). Final thoughts: Matt Blanton rips, we need a full part.
