Thrasher dropped a new edit this week in collaboration with Yeti, featuring a stacked squad of notable names on a summer trip through the NW, led by Geoff Rowley...? While Rowley has virtually no real connection to our neck of the woods, his ties to Yeti explain why he’s at the helm of this project. For the sake of not always playing cheerleader, here’s my honest critique: it felt like the same old bowl shit—uninspired and overdone. Predictable music, endless B-roll "YYEEWWs," and the same tired skateparks—a shitty caricature of the NW that barely scratches the surface of what we have to offer. The saving grace? Simon Bannerot’s footage. At least they got that part right.
