Adjacent: A New NW Skate Event Coming This Summer

This summer, we’re launching an annual event called Adjacent, a weekend long gathering celebrating skateboarding in the Northwest. The plan is for the event to rotate to a new NW city each year, but we’re kicking it all off in Portland, July 25th to 27th. At its core, Adjacent is a weekend of street skating with Northwest centric speakers/presentations, art/photo shows, skate jams and side missions like skate trivia and swimming mixed in. Here’s all the event details:

Event Schedule

stackin clips

One of main features of the weekend is 'Stackin’ Clips', a weekend-long mission to hit the streets and stack footage, ending with everyone coming together on the final night to submit their footage for an all weekend edit that will premiere after the event.

panels and presentations

The weekend also includes four NW-centric panels and presentations with local brands, filmers, pro skaters and landscape architects. Speakers will share firsthand experience on sponsorship, running businesses, building public spaces, and filming in the NW. These events will take place at PSU.

Side Missions

By all means stack all weekend, but if you find yourself a bit too cooked from Stackin Clips, we’ve got side missions lined up for you to choose your own adventure.
